We started the year with a bang, releasing real-time collaboration in Quadratic. View, edit, and share your analysis with your team in any Quadratic file.

Raised $5.6M led by Google Ventures

In April, we announced our fundraise of $5.6M led by Google Ventures with participation from Catapult Ventures, Betaworks, and The Fund. We are also stoked to share a great list of angel investors, including:

• Wes Mckinney, Creator of Pandas and Arrow
• Amjad Masad, the CEO & Founder of Replit
• Spencer Kimball, CEO & Founder of Cockroach Labs
• Nick Sullivan, Head of Research at Cloudflare

Shipped Quadratic for Education

In May, we shipped Quadratic for Education, which enables anyone with a .edu (or any other school email) to automatically get full access to Quadratic for free.

Shipped JavaScript

In June, we shipped native JavaScript support, adding the world's most popular programming language to Quadratic.

Shipped Teams

In early July, we shipped Teams for all, enabling anyone to create unlimited teams to organize their files and work together collaboratively in Quadratic.

Hit 50k user milestone

In late July, we announced our 50k user milestone. We're incredibly thankful for all the support from our users and community. Here's to the next 50k on our route to 100k!

Shipped SQL

In August, we shipped SQL data connections, which enables you to query databases directly in Quadratic. You can make direct database connections with spreadsheet integrations to Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, and more.

Shipped AI Chat

In November, we shipped AI Chat, which enables you to chat directly with your data. With AI that understands your data and follows your natural language instructions, you can generate code, insert and move cells, and more.

Shipped Self-hosting

Also, in November, we shipped self-hosting, enabling any individual or organization to start hosting Quadratic on their own infrastructure.
